Everyone is BEAUTIFUL! But as far as the modeling industry goes, its not really the shade or color of the skin people should be hung up about. It's just the overall eveness, that makes it so flawless, like Naomi Campbell, who is very dark. Either way everyone is beautiful.
this is sickening.
honestly, for color to be an issue like that when you're bleaching your own kids is messed up. I'm not a Tyra fan, but she has a point. The majority of female role models on television are of a lighter complexion and that messes up the esteem of darker children who don't see models who look like them.
But in the end, everyone is beautiful, like TS said, in their own way, it just takes looking beyond shade to see that.
everyone is beautiful..I really dont see why people result to skin bleaching, the whole situation is a mess
People, don't bleach your kids!
Two words: Michael Jackson.
Look how he turned out. =P
All jokes aside, this is a serious matter. Today in the year 2008, the lightness or darkness of our skin should not be a social matter anymore!
How many times must it be said? It doesn't matter what you look like or where you come from. What matters is the quality of the person on the inside. Beauty is universal, not limited, and should not be made to conform to anything.
Hate to sound so cliche, but that's the truth. And the world better sit up and pay attention by now.
